White Patch Aeolid at Pierbaai Reef (try saying that 3 times...)

OMG, 11 years into his diving career and DM Marky Mark is still ticking off new finds!

Curacao isn't known for nudibranchs so any spot is a special one.

BUT Mark's spot yesterday at The Dive Bus house reef was a particularly special one. Whilst diving with Max, he spotted a tiny nudi, about a centimeter long, crawling over a coral head. Luckily for him, unluckily for diver Max (!), Mark snatched his camera (every so politely, honest!) to snap some photographic evidence, but sadly, due to it's size proved to be quite difficult...

We're still searching the web to find a photo to show you, which just goes to show how rare and special this spot was - watch this space. In the meantime, you'll have to make do with this beautiful photo of a Spotted eagle ray...

As if this wasn't cool enough,  Mark and Max were accompanied by a Spotted Eagle ray as they passed over the Car Pile, making this one of Mark's most memorable dives on Pierbaai Reef. It just goes to show that you've got to be in it to win it!

Ain't life grand?
